Yes, there are several topics that are considered taboo in our country, for example sexual orientation was previously a very controversial topic for society, which generated speculation about this, based on absurd prejudices that have been mostly built by adults who have a very square mind and perhaps are based on insufficient arguments; another issue is virginity as it is said that women lose their purity when the hymen is broken, something that is a bit macho and more for our ancestors. I think it is taboo because it is something that clashes with the traditional values or the dogmas of the dominant political class of a society.
There are so many taboo, because Colombia is a country still immersed in the conservation about life's style, social topics, stereotypes, social image like citizens, between others. Some taboos in Colombia are sexuality, abortion, homosexuality and all the contrary to hetereosexuality, violence, suicide, a little bit tattoos yet for mention some of them. I think that anything that be controversy in society and it isn't communicate for the government, media and their derivatives like social media, newspapers, radio, tv, etc. That is why people are not interested in it because society is fragmented and we take postures keep away only because it is not something that happens me and because the mentality is keep low profiles and not meddle and the true problems and even so critic these problems and persons too, but don't make a change for it. The taboo becomes in the secondary "problematic" and I can see that the taboo isn't the problem are people that create this difference of thought.

Yes, I think there are a lot of taboos in Colombia. Some of them are: the sexuality at the schools, sexual orientation, abortion, agnoticism, gender roles and any kind of beliefs that are linked to it, the decision to use euthanasia, etc. I think those are taboo because of disinformation, there are a lot of people who aren't willing to search more information regarding those topics, they don't really know how important they are to keep improving as society. Of course, I think is because of the conservatism that keeps making its appearance, people that are not willing to open their mind and start having a different vision of those.

It seems to me that in Colombia we have a lot of taboos. Because In my experience, I have observed in our country that there are many taboos that turn into comments and controversy over and over again. So, for me the machismo, abortion, religion, xenophobia and above all sex are the most communs taboos in our country. I believe that some people live in the past and from my point of view, I consider that these taboos for them are their weaknesses, traumas and complexes of those who find it scandalous. That is, a sign of the immaturity. Or their lies and deep secrects. For that reason, I think that we should know and learn more about people without judging them.

In Colombia there are many taboos but if we focus on an educational aspect that is censored for being considered a taboo, it is talking about sexuality in schools. Many parents and grandparents consider that they should not talk about these issues when it is really necessary. They consider that talking about sexuality to young people is almost illegal, unethical or immoral. And I think this is because some of those people have a closed mind and don't open their minds to new things or changes. What would cause more unwanted pregnancies, misinformation and possible contagion of sexual diseases.

Yes, I think there are many taboos in our country. In Colombia when we talk about abortion, penal death, religion, xenophobia, adoption by same-sex couples among others is considered taboo. These days we are still conservatives and we don't accept all situations that we have already known are changing. For that reason, we are still judging people for being open mind and for fighting for new rights.

Yes, there are taboos. When I was younger my mom had a strong taboo about the sex and how much you will regret afterfor the first time, and I was born like that. Also, my grandmother didn't let me wear a skirt without pantyhose she are always scared that I was a sort of insane person. I was used to running away my desires, my hobbits, etc. However, I understood my grandmother was born on the preciuos century and her childhood. At this moment, we let to realize the censured, people juged each others and we let them judge us.
